The results and scorecards for the Common University Entrance Test (PG)- 2026 has been released on April 24. The declaration marks the conclusion of a massive assessment exercise involving 3,45,220 unique candidates who appeared for the exam across the country. Aspirants can now access their performance data on the official portal using their application numbers and dates of birth. The data highlights a significant scale of participation, with 1,98,060 female candidates and 1,47,151 male candidates completing the assessment.
 
While the number of participants stood at over 3.45 lakh, the total number of subject-wise appearances reached 5,04,301, reflecting many students appearing for multiple papers. The exams were conducted in a rigorous 50-shift schedule covering 157 subjects to cater to the diverse academic requirements of the participating institutions. A total of 198 universities, including 45 Central and 40 State Government Universities, will now begin their respective admission processes. The success or admission of a candi date now depends on the specific merit lists and criteria established by the individual universities, which will conduct their own independent counselling sessions based on the NTA scores. NTA utilised several cutting-edge security measures during the examination phase. This included the use of AI-based Video Analytics and virtual observers to monitor centres, alongside Live CCTV Surveillance. Additionally, jammers were deployed at all centres to prevent any electronic malpractices.
