Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Saturday distributed first aid kits to Haj pilgrims in a programme organised by the State Haj Committee at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium of Medical College, in Raipur. He wished the pilgrims a safe and pleasant journey. This is for first time, the Health Department has provided special training to the pilgrims along with medical kits for their journey. “It has been an honour and great privilege to welcome Haj pilgrims continuously since my tenure as Member of Parliament from Raigarh.

 

A total of 815 pilgrims from the state will undertake the Haj pilgrimage this year. I request pilgrims to pray for the peace and prosperity of the country and the state, and wish all pilgrims a successful journey,” said Sai.
